Drawings
The following five drawings continue to explore photogram principles within the medium of drawing. Each individual drawing entailed placing the paper underneath the night-time shadow of small ficus trees that lined the street and were illuminated by the fixed light of the city street lamps. The shadow was then traced, sometimes once, sometimes twice, and then the drawing was taken back to the studio to be filled in, resulting in a negative image of the shadow.
