Ojo

You Are My at bank, March 2007

Each member of Ojo also makes their own artwork. bank Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles asked the members of Ojo to show their own individual artwork in order to exhibit the visual parts of Ojo and how they come together to form the whole. Eamon and Josh showed paintings on paper, while I showed photographs from my series Fear and Trembling (click HERE to see the series). Chris and Moi played music through out the opening, creating an atmosphere of beatific sounds. This was the first time that Ojo showed more traditional artworks for an exhibition. The title for the exhibition, You Are My, was a excerpted from the title of Henry Flynt's minimalist recording, You Are My Ever Lovin'.
